A few months ago, my friend Sheri asked me to be part of her 2011 telesummit and I jumped on board. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to debut my “Love Your Way to Success” 4 steps to transform your life and I was right. It was a total blast, especially since less than 24 hours later I’m already connecting with people who resonated with my philosophy.
My “Love Your Way to Success” steps are all about creating joy and abundance in your life from an inner state of love. I call the process a leap of love and that’s what the four steps spell out: L-E-A-P. Step #1—Love—begins with presence and being rooted in the moment so that one can tune into their purpose, or, what life is calling them to do. The idea is, when you’re present and love is flowing through your life, success will follow.
During the teleseminar, I told Sheri that this leap of love was inspired by my own experiences, my own journey to know myself and solve the “Is this it?!” dilemma. Way back when, I was an entertainment journalist traveling the world for free to interview stars like Madonna, Bon Jovi, Cyndi Lauper, and Celine Dion. (Check out my pic with Cyndi Lauper.) It looked fun from the outside—but I felt empty on the inside. I didn’t want to follow rock stars. I wanted to rock my own life. So, I leapt into the present moment. And I landed in life coaching. (Well, that’s the short version, at least.)
Yesterday I got to take my rock show on the road and I shared the process of transformation that helped me wake up and start making music, so to speak. I have to say, it’s beyond cool when I see love do miracles in the lives of my clients. But it’s also pretty spectacular when I witness the power of love in my own. It makes a girl want to leap!
Marianne Williamson says, “The reason so many of us are obsessed with becoming star is because we’re not yet starring in our own lives. The cosmic spotlight isn’t pointed at you; it radiates from within you.” Are you ready to rock your life and leap into love? Want to witness what presence and purpose can do for you? You have until Wednesday, April 13 to sign up for Sheri’s telesummit and listen to “Love Your Way to Success” for the 3 things you need to know about love…and more.
In the mean time, you can start grooving by simply tuning into the present moment–the very first part of the “Love Your Way to Success” leap of love. I like to start with breath. Throughout the day, I stop what I’m doing, close my eyes, and zero in on my breathing. If a thought floats in—and it will—I just watch it drift by like a cloud and keep my focus on slowly and steadily inhaling and exhaling. It’s like java for the spirit.

So you want to be a rock star -
Yesterday I got over my “on air” jitters and debuted my “Love Your Way to Success” 4 steps to transform your life as part of Sheri Kaye Hoff”s spring telesummit. It was a total blast and not nearly as scary as I thought it would be, especially since I’m already connecting with people who resonated with my philosophy—a reminder that I’m on the right path.

I’ve been practicing for weeks but, when I leapt into the moment and started to jam about my four steps, I had a great time and the love started flowing.

Annie,
I love the great reminder you bring us that a state of love brings about (or attracts) the greatest things we want in life. I particularly enjoyed your reference to M.W. thoughts about people needing to be “stars” for a lack of shine within their own lives. This is so true. When you are focused and centered in serving others the fulfillment from that experience vanishes any need for fame or notoriety. What’s true and real can be felt through direct experience from a loving and purposeful state. When that natural state resulting from present moment awareness does not exist, we seek false second rate substitute experiences to to attempt to feel what we truly long for. -Bernardo
Bern, you’re so sweet. Thanks for your support these last few days. So great to have you in my tribe
Bern, it’s like a mini-blog in my blog! I’m so glad this resonated with you. I can’t stop glowing after seeing your recent video!
Awesome post and what an awesome quote at the end there. Focusing on the present moment and staying out of my thoughts has been so beneficial for me and my business. Thanks for sharing this post! xo
I’m so glad it resonated with you, Stephenie. Thanks so much for reading!
Stephenie, you’re the best–how’s it working for you now?
“The reason so many of us are obsessed with becoming a star is because we’re not yet starring in our own lives.
Love that phrase, and it was interesting to find out that in a past life you used to me a music journalist Annie, then gave it up to follow your passion. Leaping into the love and following your heart takes an incredible leap of faith, especially when to all intents and purpose, through the eyes on those looking in, you have got it made
Madonna..celine Dion…trans-atlantic travel..people would bite your arm of for those opportunities, but you were well connected with yourself enough to know that you weren’t being sustained by it and choose to carve out a new path. That also takes a a special kind of bravery.
Well done with taking your new band on the road Annie, know doubt you rocked the mike

How did I not notice this lovely comment, Stacey? Rock star life is fabulous! What about you? Got your anthem yet?
I’ve been on a journey of loving life for about two years now. When you talked about wanting to be the star – I know what you’re talking about, but never really had that desire.
For so many years I wanted to hide in the corner. I didn’t feel worthy and just wanted to fade away in the crowd.
I no longer feel like that. I don’t so much want to be the ‘star.’ What I do want is to be able to open myself up and love my life and share that love with the world. It’s been an amazing ride to an amazing life!
Great post,
Tammy
Tammy, thanks so much for sharing. I’m glad you’re shining! So bright
